Glossary¶

The following terminology/abbreviations are used in the project:

• CA = certification authority
• PKI = public key infrastructure
• CRL = certificate revocation list
• OCSP = online certificate status protocol
• TSL = transport layer security
• SSL = secure socket layer (now deprecad, predecessor of TSL)
• certificate = X.509 certificate
